Sobre el amor y la eternidad is conceived around love as a primordial and timeless force, transcending life, death, and history. The program brings together works that explore different expressions of love — from human devotion and tragedy to a profound love for music itself. Manuel de Falla is heard in two contrasting dimensions: the faithful bond portrayed in Danza del Molinero and the poetic tribute to Debussy in Homenaje. The endurance of love also emerges in La Vida Breve, in J. S. Bach’s Sonata BWV 1005, linked to loss and remembrance, and in Antonio José’s Sonata for Guitar, a lasting testament to a life cut short. Together, these works form an invitation to reflect on beauty, loss, and the eternity of love through music.
