Bellinati’s Mosaic

Bellinati’s Mosaic – Quaternaglia brings together the complete works for guitar quartet by Paulo Bellinati, one of the key figures in the consolidation and internationalization of the Brazilian guitar since the 1980s. The album offers a coherent and representative overview of his chamber music output.

The recording reflects the long-standing collaboration between Bellinati and the Quaternaglia Guitar Quartet, which began in 1996. In selected tracks, the composer himself appears as a performer, playing a historic 1935 serenade guitar with steel strings.
